Dear Fellow Sri Lankans,
Regardless of who you voted for in the Parliamentary Election 2015, now it’s time to keep your eyes open so that we, as a country, move forward not backwards. As a country, we can happily celebrate the fact that we have come a long way from ending a civil war that lasted for 25 years to peaceful elections. You have used the right to vote and selected the parliament of the country. But it doesn’t stop from there. The silence and inactivity of the civil society will only lead the country to destruction and corruption. Put aside the differences in political opinions and instead, be informed. Your opinion matters. Your voice matters. Don’t be afraid to use it to make a difference for a better future, a better country.
